I offer both online and in-person private Yoga Therapy Work and Embodied Spiritual Companioning.

Brief Bio
I am a Certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist https://pryt.com/ through the International Association of Yoga Therapy https://www.iayt.org/default.aspx and have sixteen plus years’ experience integrating yoga practice and philosophy with Christian contemplative practices. I am a Certified (E-RYT 500) EmbodiYoga Teacher as well as a Rest and Renew Restorative Yoga Teacher.
I have a Spiritual Formation Certificate through the Transforming Center https://transformingcenter.org/ and am President of the non-profit Christians Practicing Yoga https://www.christianspracticingyoga.com/. I also have 25 years of ministry experience and four young adult children with my spouse, BJ Woodworth - a spiritual director, coach, and retreat leader in Pittsburgh.



Philosophy / Practice
Therapeutic yoga is a holistic modality that includes the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual parts of you in the process of healing, growth, and personal development. Using the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy method, I draw from the best of yoga philosophy, Buddhist mindfulness, the latest neuroscience, client-centered psychology, and the contemplative path
